exremely lazy, don’t like extra step bighugelabs requires, and it isn’t clean enough for my tastes.

feel free to use this one. jonmadison.com ‘s been around for years, and isn’t going anywhere. :) i’m hoping resources won’t be an issue, as nothing’s stored here but the page/css.

senior pic shoot this weekend brings new film choice

my first crack at ilford SFX. shot w/ hoya 72. i should have just used my head and known i had to develop for quite a while longer…i wish the box would have given some development advice when using a filter, since it also gives advice on what filters to use. :( (information around the ‘net is piecemeal) this seems to be a viable IR alternative. it’s slightly less intense as the HIE, but a) HIE is no more b) HIE is super tough to handle; i’ve scratched up negs more than many occasions. I’ve one roll left, so i’m looking forward to shooting and comparing.

got a roll of 36 that’s yet to be fully shot, so i have one more chance this go round! lesson learned: do a snip test before messing up a whole roll!

souped in ilfotec DD-X for 10 minutes.

recently shot: chelsey

this was a meetup to talk about a shoot.

i like meeting up with models before a shoot, mainly to get and gauge comfortability and shoot some shots. i really do feel that a shot goes better when i’m comfortable with the subject, and vice versa.

it worked out. she’s cool people, and happens to be friends with someone else i’ve met with.

fun stuff. hopefully we’ll get cracking for a shoot within the next 2 weeks.
