I found the oddest thing today, while organizing my sets on flickr:
There were some odd pictures showing up in my sets, that had nothing to do with what i’d browsed to, but had remembered seeing on a previous page i was on, politicalbase.com. I “copied URL” of the URL’s to the images and got the following:
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1324/858964336_878b8d1f53_s.jpg
I opened it up solo in chrome:
shift refreshed a few times, to the same result.
I opened it up solo in firefox:
looks cool.
it appears at first blush that Chrome has a bug in its image caching. That could be potentially embarrassing for some.
I know i’ve said before ima stop using Chrome (it’s still broken w/ flash here and there, enough that it’s frustrating), but I can’t stay away. maybe this bug’ll learn me :)
Update: verified this is happening on various other sites as well; just saw a broken Facebook page. Yeah–the problem is that the link to Google Chrome is right on my desktop. And i can’t front–it loads up *quickly*.
