for the partisans

Joshua 5:13-15

13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”

14 “Neither [emphasis mine],” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?”

15 The commander of the LORD’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.

trying to get back into it

From yesterday, on the way home from work. Since making it back to Seattle, i’m trying to get back into the swing of things, shooting on the street wise. It’s been quite tough, actually! I”ve been a bit preoccupied with work at the moment to the point of not having enough time to spend walking around and shooting. Part of it is that I need to get back into a groove–haven’t quite gotten to planning my schedule so I’ll have the time to take a lunch, and have a half an hour before having to catch the bus to shoot.

The tunnel is now open, as well, and that changes the route I walk to get to the bus stop, which winds me up in a spot with bad light and not a lot of people. I’m thinking i’m gonna start sacrificing my favorite bus seat and just jump on the second stop in, in order to shoot how i’d like.

So yeah anyway I finally got something i’m OK with, people wise, since I made it back 3 weeks ago. I hope I can continue.

I took this so long ago. If i recall correctly, the mother mentioned something to the effect of looking forward to seeing it on my site.

I finally got it scanned, and uploaded. If you ever see this–here you go. :)

This photo reminds me — nooma has a new video, She.

Google Chrome

…would be good if it didn’t render so crummily. I thought it was using WebKit? ive no such problems with the following on Safari:

http://www.jonmadison.com/
http://www.youtube.com/
http://us.imdb.com/ (seems to be OK after a few loads)
http://www.jquery.com/

That and it rendering exactly half of several images.

Among other sites i’ve been trying. I’m wondering if i’m seeing these issues due to my proxy situation. If so, then they need to get on that. :)
