any ETA on a fix? i often make a mistake of going with the default title for my permalink, then end up wanting to change it a second later…didn't want to risk it this time in the case that hasn't been fixed…

The comment count is off because your permalink URL changed, which is the identifier that associates a blog post with its discussion thread. We can either merge the thread for you or you can leave it alone.

There's apparently at least one issue with the new Disqus comments–comment count is incorrect on at least this blog post.

Disqus importing is done. So far, i really dig it. Threaded discussions, looks like if you're a disqus user you can keep track of your own comments. And if you've commented here before, you can apparently “claim” your comments. Give it a try!
