i swear i wanted to give dude a chance, ‘cos based on that name i was biased, and wendy day was propping him! (not that i’m up on what wendy day’s really into these days, but respect her connection with hip hop) i previewed the new album by mr. jeezy…

CRAP! that was like eating egg yolks! i’m definitely getting old. have people lost they minds?! this is what “hip hop” is these days? completely overdubbed (i.e. doubled) voice of a rapper who simply talks, and talks about his criminal activity, THE ENTIRE ALBUM? (and not to mention the beats…i’m not a fan of that style anyway, but will say, from what ive heard from the “thug motivation” album…the ones on this latest record are a bit weaker…although i can’t get past that for about the same reason jay-z’s album bores me. it’s 60 minutes of big upping oneself)

dang fools is HOODwinked. The irony of these cats talking street when they’re completely corporate backed.

okay i’m through. i’m trippin i took the time out of an overwhelming schedule to say that, but dang sometimes i gotta holla, for therapy’s sake.
