aight…regarding zooomr (thinking about it since i checked it out while flickr’s having another of its episodes)

argh

i know software; i know software when it looks half-baked on the outside…you can smell it…some folk do a decent job covering it up…zooomr’s definitely half-baked. don’t have too much else to say about that–looks like sections were cut/pasted from flickr’s and placed on the site, and dang, that name…i can’t use it in good conscience knowing that name is bitten…flickr’s got issues, no doubt about that (last i checked, something else is the matter), but it’s past a lot of unrefinedness (i.e. basic stuff that just doesn’t work, looking like it was made for techies…”openID? huh? why ima sit and try to read up on some unrelated stuff to sign up for a photo sharing account?”).
man, people are crazy…how z got the popularity it has is beyond me. not ready for me to use just yet, even though i signed up and threw up a few photos. i can see, however, a little more clearly, why myspa** is popular. simple as crud, even with all its brokenness. well that and everyone else is on it.update: tried to upload 6 files…that was about 10 minutes ago, we’re still on processing 1 of 6, and my firefox is doing some crazy pointer hourglas blink thing. ah, just closed that window. i guess i’ll keep my account at one photo.

the shiny new object’s just cubic zirconia for now…

in totally unrelated news, JustMe’s One Man’s Trash is OUT. I’ve heard it. I love it. ;-)
