This is not the first time that a creation of mine has been referenced second hand. It won’t be the last, i presume. I have something to say about perhaps the reasons why it happens, but i’m gonna reserve it.

The phrase I’ve used on my business cards was used, with permission, by the wonderful Bradley Spitzer, and apparently they’ve found his card more interesting to link to than mine in their valleywag/lifehacker article.

I’d be cool if at least someone slipped me a message letting me know this had happened…particularly since i can’t get into their little dang club and post comments on their sites (that’s not why i don’t like gawker media in the first place, though ;-)

i knew it was around the corner, but it didn’t occur to me to check this past weekend for celebrations. going to try to see if there’s something to hit up tonight.

my daughter and i got to hang out yesterday. we have quite a bit of fun together! she’s down for whatever.

we ended up stopping by the strawberry festival.

i love hanging with her.

My 4 year old boy is a curious little something. *Always* asks why, if only out of habit. I mean, it is *nonstop*. Sometimes he’ll catch himself:

Me: c’mon man let’s head upstairs so we can go see mommy
Him: wh–oh! sowwy! OK!

(you have to be there :)

The most interesting was yesterday morning when i was chilling with him, when he out of the blue starts asking me questions, the primary one (well, for me) being – “why do people get sick and die”?
