my girl killed it with this one.
I AM SO PROUD–MY SIX YEAR OLD GIRL SHOT THIS ONE. i’ve seen grownups with D70s that can’t hit like this.

of course i’m quite biased…but she tends to take a bit of shots composed in this manner, that happen to come out beautiful. this one i’m particularly enamored with.

it’s a joy to see her wielding the camera, and when they’re hitting like this, i’m definitely less apt to be protective of the D70! (can you say we should take out accidental damage insurance!)

her first rule though, and she knows–PUT ON THE STRAP, and at least with me…no unattended shooting!

been looking forward to this one for a long minute.

see how they hold their own live.

in the studio, they’re a wonder. out of at *least* 50 beats i’m familiar with of theirs (both or thes one or double k individually) i can count on my hand the ones i don’t like. what i’m saying is…they are *strong* producers. that’s a track record that pete rock doesn’t even hold for me.

lyrically, they aight, but this is definitely one of those groups that i can say “i’m not listening to the words” (primarily ‘cos i have over half their catalog in instrumentals, i’m sure).

looking forward to seeing The Bomb Combo live, and hopefully snapping a few.

tonight is the Seattle Photo Meetup, and they gave a challenge indeed–autumn! I’m not a big nature photographer–i prefer people and the city, but this was a bit fun, and we got to go to a pumpkin patch this weekend, so i had to come up with *something*!

i also was able to get a little bit of fall in the city. i’ll be throwing those up as well.

here’s to stretching myself a tad.
