the yashicamat has finally arrived (won it 3 weeks ago. the wonders of bidpay). glad that the 124 was a lemon, actually. for about $40 less, i get a lens cap, hood, 1A filter, orange #2 filter, and manual. camera is also in quite good condition (aside from a sticky shutter).
this is the meterless version–i thought i wouldn’t but it actually was convenient to have that little meter up there. but i’m used to “using the force” with my lomo shots…
took a few shots earlier, then near dusk. fuji provia 400. will empty the rest out when our friends come for the afternoon tomorrow. although i think i can never get too much of my kids’ pictures…
