lesson learned. when shooting colour infrared. if you want the most vivid shots–*always* shoot when it’s sunnylicious.

well, i really supposed to be listening to michael eric dyson right now
but i missed out, to bring my son with me to the city and meet with the photo folk. there’s a gallery showing next month and i want to get some kind of feedback on these colour infrareds i took, as far as perhaps using any of them…the theme is “Electric”.
i’m surprised at what a difference a yellow filter, and some care while loading the film, can make. :)
i have another roll sitting in the nikon i’m shooting–we’ll see how that turns out.
the rangefinder for my lomo finally got here. after i’ve mastered all rangefinding manually (not really:). only took a month and a half.
flickr’s giving away schwag. i just realized after looking at it, however, how much i don’t think flickr’s logo is all that great. it apparently works well on a web page, but the color choice isn’t moving me at all.
maybe they’re giving it away due to a logo change? (from flickr to yahoo?:)
flickr: bad logo, wonderful service.

my pix from the 120 challenge are up.
lesson learned — don’t shoot with 100 film in a holga when you won’t have complete lovely sunshine.

got the EIR (colour infrared lomo lc-a) uploaded…purplicious:) and a crossprocessed roll. i’m gonna wait to upload the slide scans ’til tonight, and i’m currently scanning a messed up roll of 220 film shot w/ the holga (a light leak in the number area on each of them, in spite of covering the back..i should have *taped* the back from the *inside* before shooting!)
