SimpleViewer — oh dope

came across this software today. one nice thing is that you can customize how data is got, i.e. it’s altogether possible to write something to talk to flickr and write out to the xml file to use as the source for your photos.

wonder if i’ll use it for anything–maybe if i actually try to do some photography display? i threw up a few pics i’m queued up to upload to flickr. Man it makes them look so swank.

    i did it

    wrote a flickr integration to the software. works for my purposes; need to genericize it.

    it's for pulling pics from a pool into the simpleviewer.

    next perhaps i'll make one that takes a personal photoset into the simpleviewer gallery.

    the quickest way to find it is to go to that page i mention in the post w/ my pics on it...on the bottom right hand corner, there's a link to the place where i got the software.

    thanks a grip, HumanityCritic. i'm on yours, and in the middle of "turn off that ---- radio" -- i had to stop to check a post that screamed "classic ice cube" :) i particularly love what you come to as you listen to a particular radio dj:
