mark farina killed it last night. his downtempo set was perfect. i would have done the same thing. when he brought out the fred wesley. i lost it. then he did it again, bumping up the tempo, and starting the house set. so soulful. kinda stressed more black folk weren’t out there. i’m so surprised i can go listen to music so soulful and there not be black people there. we’re being marketed to wrongly.

big ups to nicole for being down with the farina from back in the day. it looked like you were having so much fun with your crew. kathy would be proud (okay so its a running joke–i don’t even know if k’s love for the MF is as much as i make it out to be. :)

and thanks to ben for calling me out. good meeting you. you said something to me while i was taking pics that was jocular, but i took it to heart–’cos it’s something i definitely struggle with in my picture taking as well as in life in general. here’s to keeping it real.
