man — didn’t even ruin a single picture. the infrared folk got me all worried about mishandling my film and fogging.
basically the deal is–when dealing with infrared film, you are to load IN TOTAL DARKNESS. i had gotten the impression, however, that if i even exposed the leader to light (as i did when i opened up the film canister, out of curiousity — interesting–all white film), my film would fog, and after every exposure, i should immediately place the camera back in my pocket.
at least in the lomo lc-a that didn’t seem to be the case. I’m gonna take some more rolls to see if i get consistently decent results. I’d like to mess around with color infrared as well.
so great to live in a city with a nearby lab that processes pretty much everything.
