got a quick splash up for illect’s upcoming release, plus a quick way to get these things up in about 2 minutes for all our subsequent artists. i heart css.
now for us to get illect’s actual site redone. :(

grabbed the 1997 pix from web.archive.org and finally got them in my iphoto library. figured i’d keep ‘em on flickr too…
I knew this, but it never hurts til it happens (not like it matters to me right *now*, but it will in the long run)…when flickr’s down, the local gallery is down, regardless of the fact that your pics are still in the cache.
what i hope is that the cache images expire only when a pic or info is accessed, not on access of the plugin.
have to look at this when i happen to have a coupla free hours one weekend…(!)

UPDATE: they’re back up, but as i was uploading just as they started to go down, i lost 2 photographs. interesting.

Why is it that when i make a selection, upon hitting CTRL-F, it clears my selection!
furthermore, when i select, then toggle radio button “Selected Lines”, my selection is cleared! Then when i go back to select my lines, the radio button toggles back to “All”! what does eclipse have against a brother. This seems to happen intermittently.
i’ll live with it now, google it later, and perhaps file a bug report.

UPDATE: it *does* have the text selected; it’s just that it removes the highlighting from the text. definite bug.
in other news…i bought this forss:soulhack album off of a recomendation a while back from Derty Dert, and hadn’t really given it a listen until now. What was i on that i slept on this? so far, at least, these are ridiculous tracks.

i simply cannot believe this! 40 years old. what a milestone. i looked down at my calendar and said “hm it’s andrew’s birthday”. then i did the math–oh snap he’s fourty today! happy birthday bro. the one who taught me how to scratch, showed me what real hip hop was all about. ;) point of trivia–you’re the only brother of whom i actually know your bornday. :)

i know either he’s trying to be funny or make a point (although it’s coming off like “no homo”), if it werent for his designations, i would have missed this post…where he mentions a black male author.
Although it’s a pingback on a previous entry, i’m going to have to make note of a very thorough and informative post explaining the primary issue with the Gallery-RSS plugin, and why i’m “stuck” until a fix. perhaps the next gallery will offer a little more flexible RSS setup, particularly since there’s been no word from the magpie folk that attributes will be supported (that i’m aware of, at least).
