Ended up being a little worse because it took a few iterations to get the sites (smartbrother.org and gallery.smartbrother.org) functioning properly. Obviously we're back up. Wish i had more word on the root cause of Dreamhost's constant "bad_httpd_conf" issue when moving/setting up a site. And it happened.
