John Book’s Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums Of 2004

From John Book’s Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums Of 2004

Flynn is someone who knows how deep and dope he needs to be, but never shies away from his spiritual side. One tends to think, after listening to this, that all he does everyday is put pen to notebook and write. The intelligence on this album and beats are too powerful to be contained, and yet the mases have not caught up. Maybe one day they will. I had this album on non-stop for over a month.

flynn is my BOY! He’s also how i met my wife, and he’s also on our label, illect recordings–cop that ish.

I learned something else from the article–i had no idea that the Crown City Rockers is the same group that was Mission:.

    Thanks for commenting, raphael!

John book is a different "john". i wish i had the chops to write like that guy. :) I *will* be posting my top 10 of the year soon, however ;-)

I'm really happy you liked "push it away"--i didn't like it, and almost got it off of the album, but Flynn insisted on it. Power to the artist!

i'm looking forward to hearing that "another day" joint, however.
