Microsoft granted Patent on Very Ubiquitous and OBVIOUS concept. for an example, see the “style selecta” on the left side of this page.

i’ve had it with the USPTO.

    okay, so i may be a tad off with my example, given one of the specifics is a *unique* identifier, since i give the exact set of cookies to a user based on their preferences, however, it's not terribly far off.

    the concept, albeit novel, only sounds like a workaround for the fact that HTTP is stateless.
