diarytherapy.com coming — a potnaship

Well oh well, my close friend and associate Jae Choi, to my delight, has agreed to partner with me for diarytherapy.com, a “continuation” of this site. In the next few weeks, this site will be entirely strictly personal family type jaune, and diarytherapy.com is where we get to pontificate. I’m excited, as I’m a fan of Jae, as he is I. Don’t get it twisted dun i’m married, and don’t dig on asians anyway.

T-Mobile outage

I’m a little peeved here. It’s been since about 3p.m. in Eau Claire Wisconsin, and I have had NO SERVICE on my t-mobile phone. either the fast busy signal or an explicit message stating that there is no signal. They better come correct on the remuneration.

interesting, i can receive a call, but not make them. time to figure this one out. argh. i hate when this happens and i’m on the road. it’ll be aight tho.

Thank you Cook Computing

Finally figured out why my publish checkbox isn’t working on this app i’m writing. apparently MT’s XML-RPC metaweblog.newPost’s boolean publish flag has nothing to do with the publish/draft status in mt, well at least since 2.1:

indeed, the manual is unclear. :(

I don’t see just yet why they determined why this “was a bad idea”…and it’s annoying to have to actually set a config entry on the server to get the more intuitive behaviour.

Hello, i’m testing an application

Hello, i’m testing an application i’m writing (my first C#) that allows me to update multiple blogs at a time. I didn’t see anything else that did so so i did. It’s nothing special, but, if this post works, it suits my purposes. :) There are a few todos, but it’s a good start, and I would presume not bad for a first crack at a C# app.

Sun joining eclipse?

Sun mulls joining Eclipse. of course the obvious question–what will happen to Sun One Studio (/Netbeans) in the future? There are things i miss in Netbeans/Sun One, but Eclipse is so much cleaner. I just hope Eclipse won’t get so stinking super-heavy with features. It was bad enough i had to spend some time reading a manual to get started. :)
