update on my JaimBizzle software: I’m currently adding “state” to the bot conversations–currently the model was that you sent a message, you got one back, but it was stateless, like a basic http connection. I’m adding logging of IM’s, and with that, the ability to “converse” with your bot. This will make it better for a wider range of applications (“You are walking down a dark corridor….” :). Logging functionality will be up this week, as well as some other minor changes, including auto-reconnecting after a connection has been lost ;). I’m also working on moving all info on this software from its hosted space on sourceforge to here, so i can easily maintain the pages via movable type.
